Screen shot of portrait document with a landscape page in the middle But with that said it night quite as simple as clicking on the page and choosing landscape. But for this trick all you need to do is follow the below steps and everything should work as expected. In a lot of my blogs I mention that you need to have, “strong knowledge of SAP” or “Good understanding of Excel”. When the matrix just won’t fit in Portrait view you can change one (or more) pages of the portrait document to landscape view and then change the document back to portrait for the rest of the document. But there are times with no matter how much you tweak the matrix just won’t fit in Portrait view.

If the matrix is close to fitting I will tweak the column widths until it fits. If for no other reason than it just seems weird. Now no one want to look at a 25 page word document in landscape. More than once when creating a Word document I’ve went to insert a matrix copied from Excel only to discover it was too wide for Portrait view in Word. And for a project, big or small, to be successful all the documentation has to be completed. I realize this is the nature of the beast. I don’t know about you but I sometimes feel I spend more time working in Microsoft products like Word, Excel and Outlook than I do in SAP.
